RIBKA FEST

RIBKA FEST will contribute to the promotion of the region for investments and tourism, diversification of cultural and social life on the territory of FLAG Biała - Dolni Chiflik-Avren through the revival of the culinary traditions of the region. It envisages to organize 3 culinary festivals in Byala, Dolni chiflik and Avren, which will demonstrate local customs in the preparation of traditional seafood and fishery dishes. Food establishments and special stands will prepare food that will be attractively presented by craftsmen - cooks, fishermen and people who have connected their lives with the sea and fisheries. During the festivals, demonstrations will be held to prepare fish specialties from the locals and competitions will be held for the best. The ambition is to include a maximum number of representatives of the fishing community, traders and entrepreneurs, many guests, for whom cultural, musical and sporting attractions can be prepared. In parallel with the preparation of the festival, the applicant will conduct a survey among the local fisheries community of typical fish foods and specialties. Recipes for their preparation, as well as information on local fishery resources, will be described in the REGIONAL GUIDE FISHER amp; COOK. Attached to it there will be maps of fishing spots and fish specialties. It will be distributed at food establishments and at fish outlets.In addition to paper, it will also be available on-line at the event site and at the sites of all food establishments, part of FISH FEST. The candidate expects more than 500 visitors to be attracted to the festival. Information and promotional materials on the project will be produced. Attractive wooden RIBKA (FISH) constructs will be made, which will become a kind of improvised fish market for exchange of experience, books, brochures, advertisements and more. Widespread media coverage will be provided to promote the local and regional fisheries area.
