"Construction of a monitoring and recreation area on the Devinska River and purchase of equipment for the implementation of voluntary initiatives for cleaning the Devinska River and the Tsankov Kamak Dam"

Currently, the plot XIII - for parking, landscaping and observation corners (PI 20465.503.5087), sq. 59 according to the plan of the town of Devin, the municipality of Devin is unfinished and with this project it is envisaged to build a monitoring corner, since the area it is bordered by picturesque views of the Devinska River. The terrain is municipal property, so far the area is not used by the residents of Devin. Through an existing pedestrian bridge over the Devinska River, this part connects to Ostrova Park, which makes the realization of the project and the provision of additional parking spaces and recreation areas extremely important for the town of Devin, developing as a tourist destination.            The present project envisages the establishment of a riverside alley with several corners for relaxation and observation towards the Devinska River. The necessary park equipment and lighting with adjacent parking spaces are provided. There is a zone for access to the river bed necessary for the implementation of measures for cleaning the river bed, for monitoring and fishing along the river Devin. The project envisages the segregation of 28 parking spaces, two of which are intended for people with disabilities. A riverside alley with benches, green spaces and waste bins has been designed. It is envisaged that a guard rail will be installed on the river.             Setting up observation and fishing corners on the Devinska River aims at developing fishing tourism as an alternative to standard mass tourism and rational use of the region's potential and natural resources.
