Reconstruction of road network - Akheloy str., Tervel str., Hemus str., Mesambria str. - partially, Nesebar - old town, Municipality of Nesebar

This project proposal foresees the replacement of the existing street and sidewalks in the fishing area - the old town of Nessebar with the appropriate ones used in the construction of the route on the cultural and tourist route "Spiritual Road" along Aheloy Street, Hemus Street, Tervel Street and Mesambria. The architectural concept for the current routes is directly related to the general strategy of the Municipality of Nessebar for the protection of the world value and cultural heritage - the ancient town of Nessebar with the aim of designing the main pedestrian routes with pavements from the Revival period - replacement of the existing pavements by asphalt pavements. and replacement of concrete slabs on sidewalks with new stone slabs. The investment in the small-scale infrastructure for the continuation of the cultural and tourist route "Spiritual Road" aims to promote the cultural heritage of the fishing area, through a modern integral expression of the unique values of Nessebar as a system of cultural-tourist routes in the "Old Town of Nessebar" to manifest the diversity of value characteristics and the unique stratification of the city - the result of centuries of historical evolution. The Spiritual Road cultural and tourist itinerary reintegrates the iconic Nessebar churches into modern urban life, providing the city's tourists with a cognitive attraction in conditions as close as possible to natural ones, using original materials typical of past eras. From a practical point of view, the implementation of the project - repair of street and sidewalks, will contribute to improving the quality of life in the coastal zone, which will benefit the inhabitants of the fishing area.
