Organization and conducting of the Autumn Passages 2020 Fish Festival to promote the Nessebar fishing area"

With this project, the Municipality of Nessebar is planning to organize and hold a specialized fish festival "Autumn Passages 2020" in order to pay tribute to one of the most ancient and traditional crafts in the city – fishing. The festival is scheduled for the second half of October 2020 and will take place at Mesambria Square in the old town of Nessebar. Nessebar guests and residents will be offered performances of authentic folklore ensembles from the Municipality of Nessebar, which through their music, songs and dances will have the opportunity to expose to the public in a new way the local cultural heritage. In order to provide technical support for all the musical and stage performances envisaged in the festival program, the Municipality of Nessebar envisages the purchase and installation of a specialized construction - stage and high-quality full-color LED screen, through which numerous audiences that expect to attract the event will be able to enjoy performances and receive messages of local music culture, culinary traditions and traditional crafts. The program of the festival will include culinary demonstrations in the preparation of local fish delicacies and specialties, and the emphasis will be on holding a competition for the most delicious fish soup, and hopefully it will attract a large number of participants and connoisseurs of the masterfully prepared on board fishing ships fish soup. The festive mood of the Autumn Passages 2020 festival will also create the musical performances of popular performers and vocal-instrumental groups that the Municipality of Nessebar will engage specifically for the event. The organization of the festival will be accompanied by an appropriate advertising campaign to promote the territory of Nessebar Municipality as a fishing culinary destination and a place where you can touch the ancient local livelihood - fishing.
