ART COMPLEX - WATER TOWER - MUSEUM OF FISHING, POMORIE

This project proposal is for "RECONSTRUCTION OF AN EXISTING FACILITY" WATER TOWER ", IN Regulated Area XI District 46, POMORIE, MUNICIPALITY OF POMORIE". The water tower was part of the water supply system of the town of Pomorie. It is a water tank, which was situated on the highest place at the end of the town, located 15 meters from "Kraibrejna" street in the town. In view of its highly amortized condition and the impossibility of its functioning, the need for its complete reconstruction and transformation into an ART COMPLEX - WATER TOWER - FISHING MUSEUM is clearly justified. Through the grant, which will implement the specific project proposal will also help to improve the overall appearance of the city and its attractiveness, which is extremely important, given that tourism is the main sector for the city's economy. The project proposal envisages construction and repair works for complete reconstruction of: - multifunctional hall, exhibition areas; - park development and improvement of the yard. The site envisages to contain: exhibition area in the tank or other temporary exhibitions, vertical communication, multimedia screen, entrance space and others. The main goal of the project is to adapt the existing facility into a modern facility on several levels, which combines the functions of exhibition areas, thus increasing the attractiveness of the fishing area by improving the living environment, use of cultural and maritime cultural heritage and various cultural activities, which in turn will contribute to the diversification of the local economy, the creation of employment and the strengthening of local identity. In order to achieve the respective functional areas and with the help of modern architectural interventions, an unobtrusive, hospitable look will be achieved, as the main focus of the complex will remain - The Water Tower.
