"Promotion and improvement of the image on the territory of FLAG Pazardzhik in the field of water sports"

Association "ALTERNATIVE FOR WATER DEVELOPMENT FOR PAZARDZHIK" is a non-profit organization founded in public benefit. Aims to develop and promote extreme water sports - windsurfing, kiteboarding, wakeboarding, diving, kayaking among young people over 18 years. Outdoor water sports are gaining more and more popularity all over the world. If until recently their practice was associated with seas and oceans, then the development of equipment allows this to happen inland, as the only condition is the availability of a suitable body of water. Despite the growing popularity and the growing number of manufacturers and retailers of equipment, it is quite expensive and not so affordable. At the same time, different sizes of sails and kites are used in different meteorological conditions. All this determines the high cost of a full set of accessories needed to practice these sports. For the above reasons, the first steps in any of these sports should be made in the safest possible conditions, with hired equipment and the presence of an instructor or practitioner with extensive experience. Such opportunities exist in some centers located on the Black Sea coast, but tuition fees and equipment rental further limit the opportunities for those wishing to learn about some of the sports. In connection with the above, the project provides for the purchase of equipment for demonstrations and practical exercises to promote water sports. The project will be implemented on the territory of FLAG Pazardzhik in the reservoirs suitable for the respective sports. For storage of the equipment the candidate has concluded a contract for rent of a van in the territory of the village of Velichkovo, Pazardzhik municipality, on the territory of which the theoretical presentations for each water sport will be performed.
