"Fishing routes - development of conditions for fishing and sport fishing"

The planned project activities are aimed at supporting the practiced, by the representatives of the small fishing communities, business ventures - related to fishing. The expected products and results will support the development of new and specific fishing promotion services through "digital fishing routes" and the "tourist information system". The fishing conditions will also be improved by building small-scale infrastructure - fishing shelters, a gazebo and a specialized fishing platform - along the shores of Shiroka Polyana Dam - in accordance with environmental protection norms. Investment interventions in digital and small-scale infrastructure will create conditions for the organization of specialized fishing events related to the acquisition of new skills and knowledge in fishing techniques. Emphasis in the organized events for popularization of fishing will be placed on guiding, orientation and training of children and youth from the municipality of Batak to practice fishing and sport fishing. The investments made will have a sustainable impact on improving the conditions for practicing fishing. They fully meet all the requirements of modern tourists and fishing enthusiasts, including innovative forms of digital information, distance learning, event organization - in integration with social networks and a modern look of small-scale fishing infrastructure.
