Promoting the region, fisheries and tourism through clean sea initiatives, fair fishing and preserving the authenticity of fishing

The project covers various areas. It affects the activity of fishermen, their habits in the direction of protection of the sea and the environment. Establishes informal partnerships, promotes the region, helps to develop tourism under the motto of clean sea, protection of traditional fisheries and fair fishing. Within the project, divided into 3 main activities, the following activities will be carried out: - Cleaning the sea from waste; - Fight against ghost fishing; - Monitoring of poaching; - Promotion of fisheries; - Promotion of the region as an authentic fishing; - Providing assistance to fishermen and supporting initiatives for care and protection of the fishing port "Chaika" in the town of Byala; - elaboration and distribution of information materials with information for protection of the sea and the environment; - Spearfishing tournament; - Publicity. Thanks to the listed events, the capacity of the meat fishermen will be developed, and they will be acquainted with the necessary activities for protection of the sea and the environment. An informal partnership will be formed between the Black Sea Cat Association and local fishermen for marine conservation and ecology. The activities of the association for the protection of the purity of the sea will be popularized among fishermen in order to start carrying out similar activities. Through all the listed activities the territory of FLAG will be popularized and the social and cultural life will be diversified.
