Marine classroom

The project envisages renovation of the educational infrastructure by equipping the "Sea Classroom", "Recreation Area" in the yard of the "Lyuben Karavelov" School - Nessebar and "Information Center for the Black Sea" located in a part of the corridor on the first floor of the building , designed for primary school students and for groups of full-time education. The educational eco corner will provide conditions for external training, experimental activities, raising the ecological culture of children, as well as for increasing their knowledge of the fishing area. It is planned to conduct external training for marine species in the area, to which lecturers from local fishermen will be invited. The open classroom will allow students to have contact with local marine species from an early age, for which regular training will be held in different seasons, depending on the seasonal availability of fish resources. Students will gain knowledge about sustainable fishing tourism in the fishing area. The knowledge acquired by the children will be the basis for the growth of trained local entrepreneurs, educated to appreciate, preserve and present the attractiveness of the fishing area. There will be three main areas: 1. Open "sea" classroom, including tables with benches, board resistant to external conditions, book house, bins for separate waste collection. The area will be fenced with a light wooden fence, paved with concrete pavers. 2. A recreation area, close to the open classroom, including a children's balance facility, a bicycle ergometer, a book house, benches, a separate waste collection bin, with shock-absorbing flooring under the facilities. 3. Information Center for the Black Sea, by establishing an educational corner for thematic exhibitions - drawings, models, exhibitions, projects, etc. made by students, a video center designed for watching thematic movies and presentations, arranging books and encyclopedias on the subject
