Construction of a factory for processing fish and caviare in the village of Benkovski, municipality of Mirkovo

'Agamemnon 1' Ltd. owns and operates a fish farm, located in the village of Benkovski, Mirkovo Municipality. The farm has been designed for growing species in the scope of cold-water fish - fish of the family of the Trout and the Sturgeon. On the farm, also fishing fry for rearing fish is produced. Currently the company cultivates and sells farmed fish (rainbow trout and sturgeon) when it reaches the size of consumption. Fishing fry is also sold. The capacity of the farm allows to increase the volume of farmed fish, both for direct sales and for its processing. The increased fish consumption in recent years and the intensive demand for fresh, clean and chilled fish for consumption determines the need to create a new link in the business establishment - A Factory/processing line for rainbow trout and sturgeon. This project provides for the reconstruction of the business building, located within the site - into a processing line for fish and caviare - as a waste product of the farmed sturgeon. Project duration shall be 12 months, in which time period the following activities shall be performed: construction and installation activities for the reconstruction of the business building into a processing line; the supply of equipment and furniture for the needs of the workshop; implementation of the facility with the system of environmental management ISO 14001: 2015 and with the Occupational Health and Safety Management System - OHSAS 18001:2015. Production activity shall provide for the recovery of 100% of the material, since the waste products from the processed fish shall be frozen, packaged and sold as animal feed and the extracted (hard) roe/spawn shall be processed for sale in a appropriate consumer packaging - jars of 50 grams. The capacity of the facility shall be 240 tons processed fish and 50 kg of caviare per year.
