Completion and equipping the plant for processing mussels in town of Kavarna

The project proposal is aimed at construction and equipment of plant for treatment/processing mussels from its own fields in the town of Kavarna. The realization of the planned investment will lead to market deployment of new products of black clamshell. Another significant impact of the investment will improve the working conditions in the enterprise and will reduce the harmful impact on the environment through the implementation of energy savings. "Black Sea Shels" OOD fully complies with the eligible target group in this proceeding as a candidate with the intention to build a plant for processing of aquaculture products. The project proposal addresses the principles of horizontal policies of the EU, and will help for achieving: - Sustainable development - preservation of the environment, increasing of resource efficiency, and mitigating the effects of climate change; - Equality and non-discrimination - by promoting equal opportunities; At present the company has started the implementation of part of the construction works in accordance with the approved investment project. Activities under the project proposal fully correspond to the ones eligible for the procedure and include the following eligible costs: - Part of the construction work necessary to put the enterprise in operation; - Purchase and commissioning of new machinery, equipment and other; The Company will implement fully its own expense systems for safety and protection of the environment and waters, achieving compliance with internationally recognized standards ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001. The expected results are: - Completed construction works in accordance with the approved investment project; - New machinery and equipment, facilities, etc. purchased and put into operation; - Achieved compliance with the internationally recognized standards ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001;
