Modernization of an existing factory for sterilized canned fish

The project proposal of Slavyanka AD focuses on the modernization of an existing factory for sterilized canned fish of the company. The realization of the investment will lead to the introduction of resource-efficient technologies in the production, improvement of the working conditions and safety in the enterprise and to the reduction of the harmful impact on the environment through the realization of energy savings. The project proposal is in line with the principles of horizontal EU policies and will help to achieve: - Sustainable development - environmental protection, enhancing resource efficiency and mitigating the effects of climate change. This aspect will be achieved by improving energy efficiency, in particular by putting into operation of energy-efficient equipment, part of the planned investment. - Equality and non-discrimination - Promoting equal opportunities, both between men and women, and between representatives of different minority groups. Because of the implementation of the project proposal, eleven new jobs are planned for which equal opportunities will be ensured, both between men and women, and between the representatives of the different minority groups. The project proposal includes the following eligible costs according to the Applicant's Terms: - Costs for the purchase, installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment, facilities and others; - Costs for certification / achieving / compliance with Internationally recognized standards - BS OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001; - Expenditure on project preparation and execution - Energy audit, project preparation and management; The expected results are: - New machinery and equipment purchased, installed and commissioned; - Achieved compliance with internationally recognized standards - BS OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001
