Purchase of machinery and equipment for a shellfish plant in the town of Kavarna

This project proposal provides for the purchase of machinery and equipment for a newly-built mussel processing plant in the town of Kavarna. The raw material (black mussel) needed for production will be provided by its own mussel farm of Black Sea Shells Ltd. The realization of the planned investment will lead to the market introduction of new black mussel products. By implementing the investment, the working conditions of the enterprise will be improved and the harmful impact on the environment will be reduced through the realization of energy savings. "Black Sea Shells" OOD is fully in line with the admissible target group under this procedure as it is a candidate for processing aquaculture products. The planned investment includes machinery and equipment as follows: - Automatic packaging machine - 1 item; - Equipment for "wet" storage of live mussels - 1 piece; - Container for wet storage - 100 pieces. With the investment, 11 new jobs will be created. The project proposal addresses the principles of horizontal policies of the EU, and will help for achieving: - Sustainable development - preservation of the environment, increasing of resource efficiency, and mitigating the effects of climate change; - Equality and non-discrimination - by promoting equal opportunities;
