Modernization of a fish processing plant in Kraimorie district, Burgas

The project envisages the modernization of an existing fish processing plant located in zoned property 001083 in the Kafka locality, Kraimorie quarter, Burgas, owned by Modstroy EOOD, Varna. It is envisaged to include new technological equipment, which will expand the existing capacities and production assortment of the enterprise. Activity 1 of the project proposal describes the parameters of the equipment - a tunnel freezing machine for fish, feeding and unleashing elevators to the machine and a packing machine. The operation of the above equipment will allow the enterprise to reach a production capacity of 54000 kg of frozen fish per year. The production program includes 250 working days of 8 working hours, or 216 kg of average daily production. The freezing production will include a total of 19500 kg. fish from Modstroy EOOD's own full-scale fish farm - Dermen Dere dam located on the land of Rudnik village. Own production includes the species carp, mottled silver carp, white carp and silver carp. 34500 kg of Black Sea fish - sprat (Sprattus sprattus), Pomatomus saltatrix and surmullet (Mullus surmuletus) - will be added to the workshop for processing. The project also envisages investments in the introduction of a photovoltaic system, as well as the implementation of ISO: 14001: 2015 standard for environmental management system and ISO: 45001: 2018 - for management systems of occupational health and safety. The project will create one new workplace in the production process and will preserve the existing two workplaces. The total value of the project proposal is BGN 198 121.73 (no VAT incl.). The project will be completed within 15 months.
