Fish Festival - Delicious and Healthy - A promotional campaign to raise public awareness of fishery and aquaculture products

The Fish Festival project is a promotional campaign aimed at raising public awareness of fishery and aquaculture products and improving the existing product supply chain infrastructure. The campaign will contribute to the achievement of the specific Union priority objectives, set out in Article 6 (5) of Regulation 508/2014, which will be implemented by promoting marketing and processing, improving the market organization for fishery and aquaculture products and promoting investment in the processing and marketing sectors, as well as the promotion of fishery and aquaculture products obtained through environmentally friendly methods. The project will focus on consumers and producers, processors and suppliers of fish and aquaculture. It will be held throughout the country. Its implementation consists of 15 activities and events in 14 regional towns. Within the campaign the following activities will be organized and carried out:1) National Fish Festival: 8 events in the towns of Sofia, Plovdiv Pazardzhik, Stara Zagora, Varna, Burgas, Rousse and Silistra, including the all-day accompanying program with a presenter, DJ, music groups, a chef / influencers, children's playground and a lottery; 2) Commercial Fish Festival, with workshops on the spot: 7 events in the towns of Sofia, Sliven, Yambol, Montana, Veliko Turnovo, Gabrovo and Haskovo, including a full-day accompanying program with a presenter, DJ, chef / influencers; Two case studies will measure the results of the project. Due to the need for additional visualization of the campaign and for raising the level of awareness and interest it is envisaged the production and dissemination of advertising materials. Promotional activities for the campaign will be entrusted with the development of photo, audio and video materials (electronic media, facebook, internet), as well as the publication of advertising messages and web banners in regional print media and internet media.
