DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF TECHNICAL SYSTEMS FOR RISK PREVENTION AND SECURITY OF THE SEA PORTS (RPSSP)

The project implementation will expand the integrated security and control areas in the maritime ports of the Republic of Bulgaria by the construction of three operational centres for monitoring and management of the technical systems complex, connected through a platform for consolidation of data and events, analytical processing of primary information, prevention and sustainable suppression of risk potentials. Project realization provides for the following main activities: delivery of technical devices for video control, perimeter control, etc. (primary video tools, including high-tech thermal cameras and cameras with built-in analytic event processing and many touch screen cameras), software products and licenses (integration platform, video-management platform, video recording disks, etc.). The newly built systems for risk prevention and security improvement of seaports will consist of the following main elements: ∙ Servers and video management software to record video images; ∙ Video cameras, including thermal video cameras for guarding the perimeter of the port terminals Varna-East, Varna-West and Burgas-East1; ∙ Cameras for identifying automotive numbers and subsequently defining access zones and controlling downtime on the terminal territory ∙ Components for communication connectivity with providing the necessary level of information security; ∙ Passive infrastructure to provide equipment installation points for power supply and redundancy at any of the points with parameters for the system’s endpoints (video cameras, radio relay connectivity, antennas, etc.); ∙ Fiber optic and power lines; ∙ Wireless point-to-point connectivity systems. The starting date of the project is the date of conclusion of Contract № 115 of 08.11.2016 for the implementation of Activity 5.1. Preparation of a technical specification.
