The project envisages the establishment of a Train Operation and Control System for NRIC to improve the planning and management of train operation, as well as in implementation of the European Commission's policy for the construction of telematics applications (Regulations № 454/2011 and № 1305/2014/EU) in the Trans-European Conventional Railway System. The task of TOCS is to automate the processes of planning, forecasting, management and reporting of train operation, calculation of infrastructure charges, keeping statistics and preparation of data for analysis in NRIC. The system will allow users to receive reports depending on their credentials, as well as to create additional ones depending on their needs and access rights, with the ability to automatically update reports with current data. According to Annex № 1 of the contract the activities related to DRSPMMS are dropped from the current project.
