„FEASIBILITY STUDY AND PREPARATION OF A PACKAGE OF DOCUMENTS FOR PROJECT “DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN INTEGRATED INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR COORDINATION AND MANAGEMENT IN REAL TIME OF DISASTER AND ACCIDENT RESPONSE OPERATIONS IN THE BULGARIAN MARITIME RESPONSIBLE SEARCH AND RESCUE REGION (BMRSRR)”

Pursuant to the Merchant Shipping Code and the Law on Maritime Spaces, Inland Waterways and Ports of the Republic of Bulgaria and in compliance with Art.4, para.1, p.6 of the Rules of Procedure of Executive Agency “Maritime Administration” (EAMA), together with its other functions EAMA organizes and coordinates the search and rescue of people, vessels and aircraft in distress in the Bulgarian maritime responsible search and rescue region (BMRSRR) and in the inland waterways of the Republic of Bulgaria. In order to support the management and coordination of the activities, undertaken in emergency situations in shipping, EAMA has developed a project proposal, comprising of the following activities: Activity 1: Analysis and assessment of the present situation; Activity 2: Preparation of a concept for the development and implementation of an integrated information system for coordination and management in real time of disaster and accident response operations in the BMRSRR; Activity 3: Preparation of a budget and schedule for implementation of the project "Development and implementation of an integrated information system for coordination and management in real time of disaster and accident response operations in the Bulgarian maritime responsible search and rescue region (BMRSRR)" , as well as preparation of an application form for funding under the OPTTI 2014 – 2020 of the same project. Activity 4: Preparation of public procurement documentation for the selection of a contractor for project "Development and implementation of an integrated information system for coordination and management in real time of disaster and accident response operations in the Bulgarian maritime responsible search and rescue region (BMRSRR) ; Activity 5: Information and communication Activity 6: Project management Duration of the project - 9 months.
