The Project provides financial resources for the implementation of activities to improve the material and technical base of MA of OPTTI through reconstruction and equipment of the IV-th floor of MTITC building at 6, Gurko Str. It is aimed directly at helping employees of MA as beneficiary of OPTTI, engaged in preparation and implementation of projects financed with EU funds. As a result of the implementation of the project activities, workplaces for employees of Coordination of Programmes and Projects Directorate - Managing Authority of OPTTI shall be separated, with efficient allocation of working space that provides preconditions for higher quality of the administrative tasks performed by the Directorate. The project provides the repaired and rebuilt premises of MA with office furniture, appliances, accessories to office furniture. The scope of the project includes provision of network through which the employees of MA will be able to use network and information services available in MTITC, as well as connectivity with the fixed telephony of the Ministry. Project implementation results in provision of modern and comfortable material and technical conditions for the employees of the OPTTI MA, improvement of the quality of the working environment, resulting in efficient allocation of areas with sufficient working space for employees and for carrying out of business meetings, seminars, etc. This project is defined after review of a Report in which 4 options for provision of premises for the needs of MA of OPTTI were analyzed : 1) Repair of premises owned by MTITC; 2) Rent of premises; 3) Purchase of building and 4) Construction of a new building. Option 1 has been approved and the detailed design for reconstruction of the IVth floor of MTITC building at 6, Gurko Str. has been prepared. Project design was financed under OP Transport funded project. The project started in June 2016.
