Through the implementation of this project, the Road Infrastructure Agency aims to achieve adequate document storage, ensuring the operational work with them, keeping them within the statutory deadlines and providing a clear and traceable audit trail. In order to accomplish this main task it is envisaged that two main activities will be carried out, through which the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA), as a beneficiary under OP Transport 2007-2013, will maintain and preserve the project documentation for that program, which is also its main responsibility under national and European legislation. The project envisages, first of all, a comprehensive review of the existing archive of the Road Infrastructure Agency under Operational Program "Transport" 2007-2013 by the staff of the Directorate-General and its preparation for digitization. Immediately afterwards, it is planned to scan and index the already sorted documents and as a result to carry out project promotional activities through information and publicity measures. The time period for the above mentioned activities is expected to be 30 months, and the same will be in line with the regulatory requirements for storing the project documentation under the programs.
