Development of a Conceptual Design for branch of Line 3 of the metro, section "Shipka str. - Geo Milev str. - Assen Yordanov Blvd. - Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd. "

This project covers the development of an investment project for the construction of a Line 3 branch along the route approved by the MECTD of the Sofia Municipality(SO) – “Shipka str.-Geo Milev str.-Assen Yordanov Blvd.-Tsarigradsko Blvd.” The section is 5.6 km long with 6 metro stations. Project includes the following services: -Examining the existing engineering infrastructure along the route; -Development of Detailed Development Plan(DPP); -Development of a Conceptual Design(CD) in accordance with the requirements of the Contracting Authority(CA) and the requirements of Ordinance 4 of the MRDPW dated on 21 May 2001 regarding the scope and content of the investment projects; The implementation of the project is divided into 4 tasks, as follows: Task 1 Development of a DDP for the metro section and Conceptual Design in relation to part: Track and profile. Deadline: end of the 6th month; Task 2 Development of CD of the following parts: -Constructions of Metro Stations and Tunnels -Architecture of Metro Stations, vertical planning and landscaping -Track, including switch section, road markers and signboards -Power Network All of the above shall contain the relevant drawings and quantitative accounts for the main types of works and equipment. Deadline: end of 12th month; Task 3 Preparation of a CD of all the other project parts comprising the corresponding drawings and quantitative accounts for the main types of works and equipment, according to the Technical Specification to the Implementation Contract. Deadline: end of the 16th month; Task 4 Approval of the CD by the Technical Council of the CA. Deadline: end of the 18th month. There was carried out a procedure under the Public Procurement Act regarding the implementation of the project and there was signed a contract № 112 dated on 27.06.2018, amounting to BGN 958 000 excluding VAT (VAT amounts to BGN 191 600). The deadline for the contract implementation is 18 months from the date of signing.
