Support to the administrative capacity of NRIC SDIP Directorate in relation to its duties for programming, preparation, implementation, monitoring and control of the OPTTI 2014-2020 co-financed railway projects and for the preparation of OPTC

By a Grant Agreement concluded in 2016 between OPTTI MA and NRIC for the project № BG16M1OP001-5.001-0002-C04 financial assistance was granted for provision of monthly remuneration, social and health insurance, service trips and participation in specific trainings for NRIC SDIP Directorate employees, involved in the preparation, implementation, monitoring and control of railway projects co-financed by OPTTI. The sub-activity for specific trainings ended in April 2020, while the ones for provision of monthly remunerations and service trips were extended till 31/12/2020, as all available resources were reallocated to the component for monthly wages. The major part of the railway projects financed by OPTTI will continue to be implemented until 31/12/2023, as well as all activities for preparation of the forthcoming programming period with funding from OPTC. The same commitment of SDIP Directorate staff continues without interruption - the successful implementation and completion of OPTTI and the preparation of OPTC, subsequently - in parallel and through a smooth transition - to funding from OPTC only. In this context financial support by OPTTI continues to ensure provision of adequate conditions for implementation of SDIP Directorate tasks for programming, preparation, management, monitoring and control of projects , as well as maintaining appropriate administrative capacity through the following activities: Activity 1: Wages, insurance and indemnities Activity 2: Service trips expenses Activity 3: Participation in trainings related to SDIP Directorate areas of competence
