Technical assistance for preparation of complementary projects under PA 1 of OPTTI 2014- 2020 with beneficiary NRIC

This project proposal is for the preparation of the following complementary projects to be financed under PA 1 of OPTTI 2014- 2020 : "Modernization of the Sofia - Plovdiv railway line: Elin Pelin - Kostenets railway section, Phase 1"; "Modernization of the Sofia - Dragoman- Serbian border railway line:Voluyak – Dragoman railway section"; "Rehabilitation, repair and modernization of Traction Power Substations in Varna and Razgrad, construction of a new Traction Power Substation in Ruse and development of a telecommunication control system - SCADA". This project proposal consists of the following activities:Activity1: Updating of the application form and financial analysis of the project "Modernization of the Sofia - Plovdiv railway line: Elin Pelin - Kostenets railway section, Phase 1";Activity2: Updating of the application form and Cost Benefit Analysis for Sofia - Dragoman railway line, including preparation of financial analysis of the project "Modernization of the Sofia - Dragoman railway line:Voluyak – Dragoman railway section"; Activity3: Preparation of the application form and financial analysis of the project "Rehabilitation, repair and modernization of Traction Power Substations in Varna and Razgrad, construction of a new Traction Power Substation in Ruse and development of a telecommunication control system - SCADA"; Results that will be achieved with the project implementation are: Updated/prepared Application forms; Prepared/updated CBAs; Prepared/updated Financial Analyses; Notes and comments reflected and edits made as a result of provided consultations and services during the process of review of the prepared/ updated Cost- Benefit Analyses, Financial Analyses and Application forms; Approved project propolsals. The project implementation starts in August 2020 and finishes in February 2023 with a total duration of 31 months.
