Carrying out evaluations under OPTTI and OPT

The budget line provides for the financing of the OPTTI and OPT evaluations - environmental impact assessments and evaluations of the implementation and effects of the interventions. Regarding the environmental assessments it is envisaged to prepare reports on the monitoring and control of the environmental impact in the implementation of the OP Transport, the General Transport Plan (GTMP) and the OP "Transport and Transport Infrastructure" 2014-2020 (OPTA), including measures to prevent, mitigate or eliminate as far as possible the alleged adverse consequences of their implementation. More specifically, the objective is to meet the requirements for monitoring and controlling environmental impacts in the implementation of OPT and GTMP and OPTA, according to EC No 2-1 / 2007, EC No 10-6 / 2014. and No 1-1 / 2010, with which the programs (OPT and OPTA) are coordinated and the plan; identify, prevent, reduce or eliminate as far as possible the adverse consequences in the implementation of OPT, OPTA and GTMP on the environment, population and human health. Performance appraisals and the effects of interventions include conducting evaluations focusing on identifying and analyzing the results of program implementation and evaluating their effectiveness and impact. It provides for the evaluations to cover several topics, including an assessment assessing the contribution of ESF support to the achievement of the objectives under each priority. The individual evaluations aim at answering various questions and thus assessing the need for corrective action to achieve the expected outcomes and achievement of the program objectives. In addition, the results of the evaluations will be used in the preparation of the next programming period to ensure the most effective and efficient implementation of the policies pursued.
