Vratsa Integrated Water Project - II-nd phase

Vratsa Integrated Water Project is intended for management of the water cycle of town of Vratsa and it covers the water distribution network, the sewer collector network and the waste water treatment plant. Integrated project is divided into two phases. First phase was implemented under Operational Programme Environment 2007-2013. Second phase of the project provides for the full completion of the reconstruction of the urban sewage network and reconstruction of WWTP, and full implementation of rehabilitation of the steel and reconstruction of the existing asbestos - cement water mains from "Srechenska bara" dam to the town of Vratsa. Second phase of the project includes: • Reconstruction and rehabilitation of 17,62 km water supply network, where a lot of breakthroughs and leakages occur • Reconstruction and rehabilitation of 2,35 km of the existing main sewer collectors of Vratsa • Reconstruction and rehabilitation of 7,59 km of the secondary sewer network • Extension of the sewer collector network with 8,77 km in two quarters of the town of Vratsa – Kulata and Bistrets, as well as streets in the town of Vratsa • Rehabilitation of existing steel pipe and reconstruction of existing asbestos - cement water mains from “Srechenska bara” dam to the town of Vratsa – 33,3 km • Approval of Detailed Design and Detailed Urban Plan, establishment of easement, receiving of construction permit for water main from “Srechenska bara” dam to town of Vratsa • Completion of full renovation of the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) with new mechanical and electrical equipment, construction of new and renovation of old buildings, in order to achieve compliance with EU and Bulgarian environmental requirements. • Construction Supervision • Author's supervision during the construction works of urban sewage and water supply network and author's supervision during the construction works of water main from Srechenska bara dam to the town of Vratsa.
