Integrated water cycle of the town of Shumen - stage II - second phase

This project proposal represents Phase II of the project “Integrated water cycle of Shumen–phase II” and it includes 2 subprojects which started in OPE2007-2013,but due to objective circumstances could not be completed in the 2007-2013 programming period. The subprojects that will be financed under Phase II are the following: LOT1:Upbuilding of a biological purification level with the removal of nitrogen and phosphorus to the WWTP LOT3:Construction of SPS Divdyadovo with a pressure collector During phase II in the framework of Lot1 are expected to be implemented construction works on these objects: - Sludge dewatering with a chamber filter press - Administrative and laboratory building - Vertical planning,landscaping - Electro-and SCADA - Platform communications and roads,replacement of inlet plumbing Forthcoming are delivery and installation of the following machinery for the SRST and biological laboratory.Installation will be carried out of machinery delivered in Phase I. During phase II,within LOT3 the following activities will be implemented: - Construction activities and deliveries in conjunction with the implementation of the inlet collector to SPS-Divdyadovo,Outflow canal - Delivery and installation of Heating and ventilation equipment of SPS - Vertical planning,landscaping,external power supply - Road works - Strengthening of the irrigation canal and other In phase II as eligible activities are envisaged the implementation of construction supervision and architectural supervision.In addition,there will be implementation of activities in information and publicity,establishment PIU,activities related to support for project management and audit. The aforementioned activities will be charged to the beneficiary. As a result of the 2nd phase we will achieve improvement in the quality of life of the population in the city of Shumen,overcoming environmental health risks,providing quality environmental services to citizens as the main target group.
