Upgrading and/or optimizing groundwater quantity monitoring networks, incl. – development of information maps; assessment of the structure and the state of existing monitoring points; impact analysis of groundwater abstraction on existing monitoring points and on ones envisaged to be built;-identifying requirements and measures to prevent lowering of water levels in the selected points from the monitoring network; identifying the structure and equipment of monitoring points;- assessment of the structure and the state of existing monitoring points; development of proposal for replacement of monitoring points;- assessing the need of additional expansion of monitoring networks;- survey on land ownership of the sites monitoring points are to be built;-substantiate the construction of new and or restoring existing monitoring points and substantiate equipment to be installed or the use of portable monitoring devices;-development of proposal/guidance for upgrading /complementing monitoring networks and programmes.
