Construction of water supply and sewerage infrastructure on the designated territory serviced by Water supply and Sewerage Ltd., Pernik

Scope of activities for building and reconstruction of water and sewerage infrastructure Pernik Reconstruction and construction of water mains - 16,19 km Rehabilitation of 1 PS; Building 3 new water tanks; Rehabilitation and construction of a sewerage network - 29, 870 km and 1 816 service connections; Reconstruction of WWTP Batanovtsi Radomir Low-zone transit main - 2.2 km; Construction of a distr. network - 9,96 km and 624 service connections; Rehabilitation and construction of a sewerage network - 6,77 km and 411 service connections; Construction of SPS1 "Varba" and SPS2 Radomir; Construction of a pusher from SPS1, "Varba" quarter to SPS 2 Radomir; Construction of a pusher from SPS2 to WWTP Batanovtsi. According to the RFS data, as a result of the investments in the water supply networks of the Pernik and Radomir agglomerations, water losses will decrease by 2 775 914 m3 (892 224 m3 for Radomir and 1 883 690 m3 for Pernik). Continuity of water supply will be ensured. Rehabilitation of a 23.6 km supply network and construction of 3.08 km. new is planned. The old water supply network of WSS Ltd. Pernik is 1459 km long, and after the project it will be 1462 km. Rehabilitation of 8,065 km of sewerage network and construction of 27,905 km of new is planned. The built sewer network has a length of 301 kilometers and after the project will reach a distance of 329 kilometers. As a result of the investment to the sewerage network, new 8 009 people will join in 2023 from the Pernik and Radomir agglomerations, with connectivity reaching 99.4% and 99.6%. As a result of the project for the "wastewater treatment" service, 17 876 people from Pernik and Radomir agglomerations will join in 2023. Construction of a pusher and a new pumping station is envisaged, with connectivity reaching 99.4% and 99.6% respectively for the two agglomerations. To achieve compliance with the Waste Water Directive, facilities for nitrogen and phosphorus purification will be built.
