Completion and rehabilitation of the Sewer and Plumbing Infrastructures for Communities with an Equivalent of 10 000 Inhabitants within the Service Network of „Vodosnabdiavane I Kanalizatsia – Sliven“ OOD

The Project will be implemented within the service territory (ST)of „Vodosnabdiavane I Kanalizatsia –Sliven“ OOD (ViK Sliven) which coincides with the administrative territory of Sliven Province and the following larger communities and their water supply systems: Sliven, including Rechitsa District (BGAG67338_00) and Nova Zagora (BGAG51809_00).The project foresees the rehabilitation, repair and construction of 58.15 kilometers of new water supply lines and 44.79 kilometers of sewer lines and the reconstruction of the waste water treatment facilities (WWTF) servicing the city of Sliven and the city of Nova Zagora. - Sliven including, including the Rechitsa district: Water supply:construction of new input/supply lines; reconstruction of input pipelines; overhauling of existing pumping stations and other facilities;pump replacement and integration of a SCADA system; overhauling the water supply system. Sewer: construction of main collectors and secondary network,sewage pumping station and pusher in the Rechitsa district;completion and reconstruction of the sewer system with high infiltration in the city of Sliven. Treatment:Reconstruction of the WWTF - Sliven. - Nova Zagora: Water supply:overhauling of the city’s water supply network; reconstruction of the pumping stations; repair of the dry chambers in pressure tank. Sewer:completion and reconstruction of the sewer system of the city of Nova Zagora. Treatment: full renovation of the WWTF - Nova Zagora. For ST „Vodosnabdiavane I Kanalizatsia - Sliven“OOD and the two main communities serviced by it, subject to this investment proposal, we have foreseen the expansion/completion of the existing SCADA and introducing measures to increase efficiency,monitor,collect and process data in real time and register events in the form of logs and building and implementing a Geographical information system (GIS).
