Design and construction of composting facilities and installation of pre-treatment of waste on the territory of the RAWM - Kostinbrod

In connection with National and European specific requirements and targets for reduction of landfill waste, recycling and recovery of specific waste streams and waste prevention, Municipalities, members of RAWM - Kostinbrod: Kostinbrod, Bozhurishte Godech, Dragoman, Slivnitsa and Svoge, based on information from the preliminary analysis and research of the needs in achieving the goals of art 31, para. 1of the WMA, provides additional investments in building infrastructure for waste management: 1. Construction of a pre-treatment plant for domestic waste for the purpose of their utilization and prevention of greenhouse gas emissions in RWSC with an annual capacity of 20 997 t, sufficient to achieve the objectives for preparation for reuse and waste materials and provision landfill of up to 50% of the waste stream. 2. Construction of 3 composting plants for separately collected green and/or biodegradable waste as follows: * Composting installation for separately collected green waste with a capacity of 5 078 t in landed property in Bogoyvtsi village, Kostinbrod, with a total area of ​​31 493 sq.m, for the municipalities of Kostinbrod, Bozhurishte and Godech. * Composting installation with a capacity of 2 801 t in a land plot in Sofia region, Slivnitsa municipality, locality Lozishte, for the municipalities of Slivnitsa and Dragoman. * Composting installation with a capacity of 2 109 t in properties located on the land of the village of Tserovo, for the municipality of Svoge (properties № 046014 and № 046015 - area "Tsutsanovo-Babin Dol", properties № 046012 and № 046013 - area "Babin Dol" and property № 046034 - Dolni Zhelen locality). Pre-investment studies have been prepared with a justification of the capacities, the selected technologies, the necessary facilities. After the realization of the project will be reduced the amount of the incoming waste at Depot for non-hazardous and inert waste for the municipalities in the land of the village Bogoyvtsi.
