The implementation of this project proposal aims to build a composting installation and a pre-treatment plant for municipal waste for the Gotse Delchev municipality, Garmen Municipality and Hadzhidimovo Municipality. The construction of these installations will contribute to the reduction of the amount of landfilled household waste in the regional landfill for non-hazardous waste, Dobrotino, Mokra Polyana, Gotse Delchev by providing additional capacity for pre-treatment of mixed municipal waste and for separate collection and recycling by composting of green and / or biodegradable waste.The proposed site for the construction of both facilities is located in property №004043, "Mokra polyana" area, in the land of the village of Dobrotino and occupies of the assigned property in which is located an active regional landfill for the municipal waste - Gotse Delchev region, its area amounts to 12.5 decares. There is an infrastructure on the site and there is no need to build a new one. Planned for construction and operation are the following facilities: - Composting plant with a capacity of 2100 t / year - pre-treatment plant for mixed municipal waste with a capacity of 12 300 t / year. - introduction of a system for separate collection of green waste, including containers with a capacity of 1.1 cubic meters (268 pcs) and waste disposal machinery - construction of a new transformer station at the site. The target group of this project proposal is the inhabitants of Gotse Delchev, Garmen and Hadzhidimovo.
