Financial instruments, PA2 Waste, OP Environment 2014-2020

The FI under PA2 are intended to provide funding for eligible and financially viable investments in the sector Waste as support through FI under PA2 will be provided for: • Design and construction (Damp;C) of centers for reuse, repair and preparation for reuse, incl. providing facilities and equipment for the activity; • Other financially viable projects, in accordance with the objectives of PA2 of OPE 2014-2020, eligible activities and eligible final recipients as per the current version of OPE 2014-2020 and the Ex-Ante Assessment of FI under OPE 2014-2020 or its subsequent update, including the following activities: - Damp;C of sites and installations for pre-treatment of municipal waste - Provision of necessary equipment and facilities, as well as equipment for separate collection of biodegradable and green waste; - Damp;C of anaerobic and / or composting plants for separately collected biodegradable and /or green waste; - Pilot projects for the design and implementation of innovative technologies for separate collection of municipal waste - Pilot projects for the design and construction of plants for the recycling of separately collected municipal waste other than biodegradable, including the provision of the necessary equipment and facilities for separate collection - Damp;C of ancillary infrastructure to the installations described above (eg electricity, road, water supply) serving only the sites/ installations, etc. - Activities related to the implementation of demonstration projects for the collection, synthesizing, dissemination and implementation of new, non-traditional successful measures, good practices and/or management approaches in the field of waste management, as well as the introduction of new technologies and the organization of information campaigns, aimed at the prevention of waste generation and the formation of a zero waste society. - Damp;C of reuse centers for construction waste, including the supply of facilities and equipment.
