"Design and construction of composting installation for separately collected green and biodegradable waste of Yambol municipality"

This project proposal envisage to design and built a composting plant with a capacity of 2 400 t/a separately collected green and wood waste. The chosen technology is open-cell composting with a shed that uses an automated composting system. The system includes aeration, which is a prerequisite for a faster and qualitative composting process and takes place in the first 25 m. The requied equipment includes: a wheel loader, a shredder, a sieve, an automated composting system, an aeration system and control panels. For the waste collection is planned the purchase of a. car with a capacity of 7 cubic meters. and 108 pcs. containers for separate collection of green and wood waste with a volume of 1.1 cubic meters. The site is located on the territory of village Hadzhidimitrovo, Municipality Tundzha, district Yambol, EKATTE 77030, UPI II300, with a total area of 8 000 sq.m. The site is relatively flat, with a slope of about 7% in the direction southwest - northeast. The access takes place on a new planned road with a length of about 210 m. The electricity supply is realized by a new transformer station within the plot and coonection to the grid is about 330 m. The electricity supply/coonection to the grid and a new planned road will be built with financial support of Yambol municipality, and this is not a matter of the project proposal. Provision of pavilions for administrative and battle functions is planned. The construction and commissioning of the composting plant will contribute to reducing the amount of the landfilled biodegradable waste
