"Design and construction of installation for composting and pre-treatment installation of the generated waste of Municipality of Elhovo and Municipality of Bolyarovo on the area of Municipality of Elhovo"

In connection with the implementaion of the objectives set out in Art. 31, par. 2, p.1 of the BWM , for reducing the amount of green and biodecomposible waste through separate gathering and recycling, Municipality of Elhovo - leading-municipality and Municipality of Boyarovo-partner- municipality, have planned to construct jointly composting installation (CI) for green/garden and tree waste that will manage generated waste on the territory of the both municipalities by the population, business and public areas (to be cleaned and mowed) to produce a high quality compost product. The municipality has chosen to apply for an open CI in covered lines with chutes and forced aeration, with capacity 4000 t/y. The composting platform has checkpoint area (reception area), storage area of the input material, crushing and homogenization zone, composting zone (formation of compost mound), screening area after the intensive phase, after ripen zone, area for preservation of the compost, machinery and equipment zone. It is planned to be build administrative building. It is provided to be bought special truck for waste collecting. In connection with the implementaion of the objectives set out in Art. 31, par. 2, p.1 for increasing the amount of waste, including paper, cardboard, metal, glass, plastic from households and other similar sources that are preparing for reuse and recycling, the Mun. ot Elhovo and Bolyarovo provided to construct joinly pretreatment installation (PT)for generated mixed collected waste on the territory of the both municipalities, with capacity 1600 t/y. The municipalites have chosen to apply with preliminary mechanical waste treatment for separating recyclable fractions from the mixed mixed waste stream. The installation includes and stabilization of the organic fraction. The CI and RT is going to be constructed on common parcel - estate 069011, in the area "Humata", villege Dobrich, mun. of Elhovo.
