Implementation of a decentralized bio-waste management model in the municipalities of Sevlievo, Dryanovo and Suhindol, including the construction of the necessary technical infrastructure - a separate collection system and a recycling facility for the collected bio-waste

The project proposal envisages two composting plants on the territory of the municipalities of Dryanovo and Sevlievo with the respective capacities - 900 tons and 3000 tons of biodegradable waste treated per year. The planned facility in the Municipality of Dryanovo will be a technology for composting outdoor rows, and in Sevlievo municipality the technology for composting outdoor rows with forced aeration. With regard to the installation in the municipality of Sevlievo, an accompanying infrastructure will be constructed - a lead line with a total length of 163 m. On the sites will be delivered mobile equipment, which will include for Sevlievo site - 1 pc. tractor, 1 pc. 1 vehicle. tanker; for the Dryanovo site - 1 pc. 1 vehicle. generator and 1 pc. water pump. The separate collection system for the Sevlievo site will comprise the town of Sevlievo and 10 settlements with a population of more than 500 people and for the Dryanovo site it will cover the town of Dryanovo and one settlement. For the Suhindol municipality, a site for composting on site is planned. Composting sites on site are also planned in the village of Bogatovo, municipality of Sevlievo and in the village of Denchevtsi, municipality of Dryanovo. The three sites will also serve as home-composting training sites as provided for in the final report of Stage I and in this sense they will be provided as demonstration and in order to implement the Stage IV activities of the D-33-10 / 30.04.2014
