Pilot demonstration model for circular economy

The implementation of the activities of the pilot demonstration project will contribute to the implementation of circular economy models and the development of consumer-oriented information and data for preventing the generation of municipal waste and preparing for reuse and/or recycling of municipal waste materials. The development of pilot demonstration model for circular economy, focus on waste management sector will integrates spatial and non-spatial data from various sources and will provides easy access through global network resources. The pilot demonstration model will be user-oriented and will allow for reference and analysis. This functionality will significantly improve coordination, both between individual users and between target groups. The pilot demonstration project will be implemented in Sofia city, Sofia Municipality, together with the districts - Suhodol, Filipovtsi and Trebich, which are within the city's construction boundaries but are territorially separated. The place of implementation of a pilot demonstration model for a circular economy was determine on respect to project multi-layered and multilateral structure, comprising the following main components: human capital, saturation and market access, financial capital, digital technologies, good regulatory environment and good governance.
