"Implementation of demonstration project in the field of waste management in the municipality of Polski Trambesh"

The demonstration project “Implementation of a demonstration project in the field of waste management in the municipality of Polski Trambesh”, using good practices from successfully implemented projects and initiatives with achieved results, aims to raise the public awareness of compliance with the municipal waste management hierarchy. This will be achieved through the introduction of home and community composting to prevent biodegradable waste, by organizing training for awareness raising, environmental culture and behavior, and by organizing specialized events for the repair and exchange of household items for reuse overall reduction of the landfilled municipal waste generated on the territory of Polski Trambesh municipality. The main activities are related to the placement of composters of different volume for on-site composting in households throughout the municipality, kindergartens and schools, as well as public ones - in the green areas of Polski Trambesh. In order to successfully achieve the project objectives, home composting training will be conducted for all target groups directly affected by the project results. Active promotion of the main results is an integral part of the project. They aim to encourage stakeholders to continue the successful approaches implemented in the project, as well as to attract new stakeholders to start using them. For the purpose of the project, formal conferences and a campaign "Don't throw away! Create!" will be organized, covering different age groups of the population of Polski Trambesh municipality. The planned activities for the development and distribution of brochures and promotional materials will further contribute to the dissemination of the project results among all the stakeholders in the municipality and beyond.
