Implementation of demonstration project in the field of waste management in "Wagon Factory Intercom" JSC

"Wagon Factory - Intercom" JSC is an enterprise with almost 100 years of history. Its activity consists of repair, reconstruction, recycling and production of passenger, freight and specialized cars. The plant employs more than 140 staff and many customers, partners, suppliers go through it every day, intending to which a large amount of municipal waste is generated, as defined in point 2, § 1. of the Waste Management Act. build and processes for the separate collection of this waste and all are stored in common containers, to change this situation and to help achieve the goals set out in Article 31, paragraph 1 of the Waste Management Act (WMA), About municipal waste, we envisage the following activities: • Purchase of 20 pcs. large containers for separate collection of municipal waste - In each of the 5 separate buildings (halls) will be placed 4 pcs. containers for separate collection (for glass, plastic, paper, other waste). This will facilitate the recycling process. • Purchase of 7 pcs. small bins for separate collection of municipal waste - These bins will be placed both in the office building of the plant and at the entrances of each production workshop. • Food waste processing machine - Due to the fact that the plant feeds over 140 people daily, a serious amount of food waste is generated. For this reason, in addition to separate collection, their processing is also necessary.
