"Closure and reclamation of an existing municipal landfill, property no. 07603.211.664, by the KKKR of Byala, Byala Municipality, Ruse district"

The project for closure and reclamation of municipal landfill of Byala Municipality,Ruse district is located in PI 07603.211.664,according to KKKR of Byala Municipality,Ruse district,property.The landfill has been shut down according to Order 501/29.11.2017 of the Director of RIEW-Ruse.The same is located on the land of Byala,Trapito-ECATTE07603.The total area affected is 26633sq.m.or tech.reclamation 2.17ha.Before its decommissioning,the landfill was operated without any precautionary measures or other technical equipment in general.In particular:-No lower insulation screen and insulating membrane-No system for collecting and removing surface water and infiltration-No facilities for collecting/controlling biogas-No quantitative and qualitative control of incoming waste-No compaction and landfill.At closure and reclamation,a technical decision was made,which provided for the laying of a sealing layer with thickness d=1,30m'over the whole horizontal area F~1,5dkaand a layer with thickness d=1,05m'on the berm and the slopes of the landfill(F~17,5dka)after re-skewing to a slope of 1:2.5.Laying of earth masses should be done on layers with thickness d=0,25m'.After the laying of the earth and rock masses,compaction measures shall be carried out to achieve the coefficients of compaction Kygt;=0,95.After the application of the reclamation layer,agro-tech.measures are foreseen for the construction of a humus layer with thickness d=0.30m, which will not be compacted.Three stages of implementation are envisaged: Step1Preparatory activities-Cleaning of the area from shrub vegetation and large-sized objects;Tracing activities and marking of all characteristic points;Step2Vertical Layout-Retraining starts with seizure,loading,transport,laying, arriving and rolling from the lowest part of the respective profile to the landfill of the landfill;Step3Construction of an upper insulation screen with a total thickness of d=1.30m'in the horizontal part and 1.05m'in the slopes and berms
