"RECOVERY OF THE DUMP FOR SOLID DOMESTIC WASTES, DOLNI DABNIK, OBRT PLEVEN"

The area of ​​the projected area, including contaminated sites, is 83.57sq.m (83574 sq.m). The landfill is located in the "Lookout" locality and was developed on a municipal terrain in the land of Dolni Dabnik with ECATTE 22407, property number 000216, which has a slight slope to the north, towards the existing Dolni Dabnik dam. The area of ​​the property is 51007sq.m. The landfilled waste is classified as non-hazardous mixed municipal waste, mixed collected under code 20 03 01 according to Regulation 2 / 23.07. 2014 on waste classification. The remediation of the landfill will be performed in three stages with the following scope of work: • First stage - technical reclamation, including measures for removal (scraping) and temporary storage of the upper soil layer from the adjacent terrain, its use for intermediate soil; not on the terrain after operation, leveling of slopes, laying of topsoil (there is a deposit near the landfill) on the planned surface, leveling of the soil layer. • Second stage - closure of the landfill, including measures for the construction of the final cover (upper insulation screen), surface water control and landfill gas (biogas) control.   • Stage Three - biological reclamation, including measures to restore the landscape, cultivate the soil before sowing and plant perennial grasses. At the time of the geodetic measurement, the approximate volume of landfilled waste is about 125-135000 cubic meters. The project aims to: • Creation of favorable post-exploitation land use at the landfill. • Protecting public health and safety. • Mitigating or remedying environmental damage and ensuring sustainable environmental development. • Reduction of adverse socio-economic impacts.
