The solid waste reloading station operates in the town of Tervel. The use of the landfill for non-hazardous waste was discontinued in 2009. The area of the land is 49,533 decares. The area covered by waste is 30.00 decares. The project envisages implementation of: - Technical reclamation - by the in situ method, model B, by waste profiling, triple sealing, intermediate sealing, compacting of the earth masses and construction of a recultivation layer, construction of an insulation system. The technological scheme includes: • Concentration of waste on a smaller area, incl. cleaning and disposal of waste outside the project floor • Profiling (spreading and leveling of waste) • Dusting and leveling of the waste layer • Compaction of waste; • Implementation of a passive gas outlet system (gas outlet fins on the landfill ridge and gas windows); • Construction of a reclamation layer; The technical reclamation will be done through a grant from OPE 2014-2020. Biological reclamation - will be done by applying manure, grass mixtures, making insulation belts and protective landscaping with shrubs. compaction and milling); for slopes - excavation, filling, milling; for the adjacent terrain - shallow plowing, milling and leveling. In all three types the final phase is sowing of grass mixtures. For the three types of biore-cultivation, manure will be imported in quantities - for the ridge - 1 ton, for the slopes - 4.6 tons, for adjacent territories - 7 tons. The funds for the biological reclamation will be provided by the Tervel Municipality after the technical reclamation and completion of the project funded by OPE 2014-2020. Long-term monitoring of environmental and waste components will be carried out.
