"Technical re-cultivation of the municipal waste landfill in the territory of Dabravka village, Belogradchik municipality"

The current project proposal “Technical re-cultivation of the municipal landfill in the territory of the village of Dabravka, Belogradchik municipality” provides technical re-cultivation of the existing waste landfill for non-hazardous municipal waste, which does not meet the regulatory requirements and is subject to a judgment of the EU Court of Justice. The implementation of the project will contribute to the fulfillment of the obligations of the Republic of Bulgaria under a procedure for infringement of EU law in connection with the judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Union of 16.07.2015, lawsuit No C-145/14. After the implementation of the project activities, biological re-cultivation of the landfill will be carried out, thus the project will serve for the complete closure of the existing waste landfill and elimination of the harmful consequences for the environment resulting from its use for land-filling of municipal waste. The project envisages the following activities: Activity 1. Preparation and implementation, which includes the following sub-activities: Preparation of tender documentation for public procurement; Public procurement; Design and supervision; Independent construction supervision; Activity 2. Technical re-cultivation of a landfill for non-hazardous municipal waste in the territory of Dabravka village, Belogradchik municipality; Activity 3. Project organization and management (including information and communication).
