The project involves the implementation of technical recultivation of a landfill located in the territory of Kavarna. The necessary activities related to investment design and studies, construction works and the necessary supervisory services, as well as information, communication and project management activities will be carried out. As a result of the implementation of the project, the technical rehabilitation of the landfill will be completed, as will the compacted waste of 2.78 ha and the landfill area of 0.894 ha. The project results will benefit the population of the municipality of Kavarna, which according to National statistical institute data as of 31.12.2018 is a total of 14 020 inhabitants. The effects of the project will be to improve the landscape, reduce the adverse environmental impact of human activity, including limit pollution to surrounding terrains and the coast.
