Technical recultivation of municipal landfill for non-hazardous waste in area Karo, Boboshevo municipality

The project proposal is focus on implementation of activities for the closure and technical recultivation of a municipal landfill for non-hazardous waste located in Karo area, Slatino village in Boboshevo municipality. The municipal non-hazardous municipal landfill of Boboshevo municipality is located about 4.0 km. northeast of the town of Boboshevo and 150 ÷ 300 m. northwest of the final regulation line on village of Slatino, Boboshevo municipality. The landfill does not meet the requirements of Ordinance No. 6 on the conditions and requirements for the construction and operation of landfills and other facilities and installations for waste recovery and disposal, therefore its operation was suspend with effect from 31 December 2017, based on Order No. 119/20.11.2017 of the Director of RIEW - Pernik. The landfill does not fall within the territory of a protected area. The landfill is located on an area of 5584 square meters in landed properties identification number 67252.43.21, type of property - municipal private, permanent use: Landfill, Karo locality, Slatino village, Boboshevo municipality. The total contaminated area is 7 234 square meters, of which: area with landfilled waste - 5 565 square meters and Zone with dispersed waste - 1 669 square meters. The approach to the landfill is from the existing agrarian road. The technological sequence of recultivation includes Preparation works; Construction of fence structures; Pre-landfilling, vertical planning, alignment and impulse compaction of waste; Construction of upper insulation screen. After the technical recultivation, the municipality of Boboshevo will also carry out biological recultivation of the landfill. The costs of biological recultivation are not included in the project proposal budget.
