"Reclamation of landfill in the municipality of Sapareva Banya, subject of a procedure of infringement of EU law under Case C-145/14"

The subject of this project proposal is the reclamation of landfill in the municipality of Sapareva Banya, subject of a procedure of infringement of EU law under Case C-145/14. There is a municipal landfill for non-hazardous waste on the territory of Sapareva Banya Municipality, which does not meet the regulatory requirements and is subject of enforcement of the decision of the Court of the European Union of 16 July 2015. In connection with the above, it is necessary to carry out technical reclamation of the landfill. The objective of this project proposal is to carry out technical recultivation of the landfill for non-hazardous waste of the Municipality of Sapareva Banya with a view to fulfilling the obligations of the Republic of Bulgaria under the procedure of infringement of EU law in relation to decision of the EU Court of 16.07.2015 under Case C-145/14. As a result of the implementation of the project, a technical recultivation of the landfill for non-hazardous waste in the municipality of Sapareva Banya, subject of a procedure of infringement of EU law, will be carried out in connection with the decision of the EU Court of 16.07.2015 under case C- 145/14. The target group of the project proposal includes the residents and guests of Sapareva Banya Municipality. The main activities within the project include: activities related to the preparation of the project proposal; activities (incl. construction works) related to the implementation of technical reclamation of the landfill; construction and design supervision activities; preparation of procurement documents; organization and management; information and publicity.
