Closure and reclamation of an existing municipal solid waste landfill in the territory of the town of Koprivshtitsa

The remediation of the landfill provides for technical reclamation (TR) of an area of ​​1 hectare within a landed property with id. 38558.14.63, located on the territory of Koprivshtitsa municipality. The following measures are envisaged under the TR: • excavation and pre-disposal of waste; • formation of the waste body; • Laying of a leveling layer 0.20 m thick until the project elevations are reached; • laying of gas drainage and gas collection system; • construction of gas wells; • Laying the sealing layer on the upper insulation screen; • Laying of the drainage system for the infiltrated through the reclamation layer of atmospheric water; • application of the reclamation layer of soil - 0.75 m (3 x 0.25 w) above the drainage system for atmospheric water; • application of a layer of humus - 0.25 w; • implementation of the surface water discharge system; • implementation of benchmarks for monitoring the depot deformation of the monitoring system; As a result of the activities carried out it will be achieved - Stability and durability of the reclaimed landfill construction under normal and special loads; - Protection against infiltration of surface waters and their removal outside the body of the landfill; - protection of atmospheric air and surface water from pollution from the landfill; - Meeting the requirements of the regulatory framework. The project proposal envisages the following activities: 1. Preparation and implementation of the project, including design, copyright and construction supervision; 2. Construction and repair works - technical rehabilitation of the landfill; 3. Project organization and management and information and communication measures.
