Closure and recultivation of municipal landfill for non-hazardous waste in area Karach Dere, Nikopol municipality

This project proposal envisages the implementation of activities for closure and reclamation of a municipal landfill for non-hazardous waste, located in the area "Karach Dere" Nikopol municipality. The landfill is on the land of the town of Nikopol and has been in operation since 1975, according to act № 19 / 27.05.1972. Nikopol, with a total area of 15994 m2. Only property with №51723.114.61 has a way of permanent use "landfill for non-hazardous waste" with a deed of public municipal property №1850/07.10.2009, due to which the activities for technical reclamation will be carried out on it. The accumulated and scattered waste in each of the neighboring properties will be scraped, arrived and cleaned. The properties are owned by the Municipality of Nikopol with AOC №4507 dated 14.04.2016, AOC №1850 dated 07.10.2009 and Notary Deed №136, volume 2, case №322/19 dated 30.04.2019. with suspended operation, as of September 30, 2016 on the basis of Order №551/30.09.3016 of the Director of RIEW Pleven. Within the framework of the project, technical recultivation of the landfill and the contaminated terrains will be carried out, certified by a protocol by the commission on RIALCA for determining the size and boundaries of the terrain for recultivation and geodetic surveying. After the completion of the technical recultivation on the property №51723.114.61 on 2D area of 2716 m2 or 3D area of 2950 m2 and cleaning of the contaminated terrains with a total area of 8718 m2, the municipality of Nikopol will perform the biological recultivation, as the funds for they are not the subject of this project proposal. The area of the recultivated body was also measured using the functionalities of AutoCAD. After the recultivation, monitoring will be performed in accordance with the requirements of Ordinance № 6 of August 27, 2013. On the conditions and requirements for construction and operation of landfills and other facilities and installations for recovery and disposal of waste.
