Sustainable Management of Rila National Park II-nd phase

Subject of the project proposal is improvement of the conservation status of species and types of natural habitats in Special Protection Areas /SPA/ BG0000495 "Rila" for protection of Natural Habitats and Wild Fauna and Flora, included in the list adopted by Council of Ministers Decree No. 122/2007 (promulgated SG No. 21/2007) and Special Protection Areas /SPA/ BG0000495 „Rila” for protection of Wild Birds, promulgated by Decree № RD-764/28.10.2008 of the Minister of Environment and waters. The project covers the territory of the following regions: Blagoevgrad, Kyustendil, Pazardzhik, Sofia. The project proposal includes: * Preservation, maintenance and restoration of natural habitat: 95A0 forests of white and black pine in a stretch of tourist trail - Skakavitsa hut - Lovna hut (from the area of Lapada to Skakavitsa hut) passing through the territory of the Skakavitsa reserve, according to Order № RD-1116/26.10.2004 of the Minister of Environment and Water; * Implementation of complex measures for early detection and prevention of damages from occurred forest fires in areas occupied of natural habitats 9110 - Luzulo-Fagetum beech forests; 9170 - Oak-hornbeam forests Galio-Carpinetum type; 91BA Mijasian fir forests; 91CA - Rila-Rhodope and Stara Planina white-wood forests; 95A0 - White and black pine forests; 6520 Mountain hay meadows in PZ BG0000495 Rila fn the territory of Rila National Park; * Activities for improvement of the conservation status of the species 1371 Rupicapra rupicapra balcanica in its natural habitats in the protected zone BG0000495 Rila on the territory of Rila National Park; /Continuation of the text due to the character limitation is found in Attachment No 15, item 12.
