Improvement of the conservation status of natural habitats 9530 * Sub-Mediterranean pine forests with endemic subspecies black pine and 91AA Eastern downy oak forests on the territory of Natura 2000 site BG 0001031 "Rodopi Sredni", which fall within the boundaries of managed reserves "Jenda" and "Boraka".

The subject of this project proposal are habitats: 9530 *“Sub-Mediterranean pine forests with endemic sub-species Black Pine“; 91AA „Eastern oak forests on the territory“ of Natura 2000 site BG 0001031 "Rodopi Sredni", inside of the managed reserves (MR) "Zhenda" and "Boraka"; MR Zhenda is located on the territory of the village of Zhenda, Chernoochene Municipality, Kardzhali District. MR Boraka is located on the territory of the village of Sarnitsa, Mineralni bani Municipality, Haskovo District The project proposal includes the following activities: 1. Investigation the areas in the Managed reserve "Jenda" and taking measures to control the population of Pine processionary (Thaumetopoea pityocampa). 2. Investigation the areas in Managed reserve "Boraca" and habitat restoration activities for nature habitat 9530 * "Sub-Mediterranean pine forests with endemic subspecies black pine". 3. Improving nature conservation status of the habitat 9530 * "Sub-Mediterranean pine forests with endemic subspecies black pine", by aligning the earth path, mounting barriers to the MR "Jenda" and aligning the earth path, mounting barriers, creating mineralized lines along the border of MR "Boraka". 4.
