Improving the Conservation Status of Types and Types of Natural Habitats within Protected Zone BG0000209 "Pirin" for Conservation of Natural Habitats and Wild Fauna and Flora, included in the list adopted by Decision No 122/2007 of the Council of Ministers (promulgated in State Gazette, issue 21 of 2007)/Protected Area Pirin National Park

The project proposal covers the Protected Zone BG0000209 "Pirin" for the Conservation of Natural Habitats and Wild Fauna and Flora, included in the list adopted by Decision No. 122/2007 of the Council of Ministers (promulgated, State Gazette, issue 21/2007 ) / protected area "Pirin National Park". The area where she falls is Blagoevgrad. The objectives of the project proposal are: 1). Improving the status of forest habitats; 2). Improving the status of oligotrophic lakes; 3). Improving the conservation status of natural habitats and species. The need to be met through the implementation of the project is to preserve and improve the status of plant and animal species and habitat types, subject to conservation in protected zone BG0000209 "Pirin". In addition, prerequisites will be created for better implementation of the objectives of protection of flora and fauna, will reduce the harmful impact of fires and poaching by reducing the risk of fires and illegal hunting, and from there to improve the conservation status of the plant and animal species that are in an unfavorable conservation status on the territory of Pirin NP. The expected results are related to the above-mentioned objectives, namely the overall improvement of a number of forest and natural habitats and species and also the mitigation of the impact of human activity on these habitats and species. The main activities derive both from the objectives and the expected results - through various activities grouped in main activities, a general improvement of the conservation status of Acidophilous forests in the mountainous to alpine gulf will be realized; the status of oligotrophic and dystrophic lakes will be improved. The activities envisage improving the conservation status of habitats and species stated in point 12 below as a separate list (file Spisyk mestoobitanija i vidove.docx).
